My wife and I met Kent and Sheila as teenagers when we pastorered their church in Linton, Indiana In the years of 1969-1973. We rnjoyed their family then and the friendship has continued till this day. Kent wanted to live and now he is really living in Heaven. I will miss him his laughter and good humor and his friendship and will see him soon in Heaven.

I send my condolences to the family. I have in recent years found friendship w Sheila, Kent’s sister.. She graduated with my little sister. I was in the same graduating class as Kent at Linton-Stockton High School, Linton, IN. Kent was always proud to be a Christian and was as a teen, very consistent in his Christian walk. I always felt a kinship with him as a fellow believer and respected his faithful walk w the Lord. I know hos family will miss him greatly. Yet, i also know he is in heaven. I am praying God wraps Hos loving arms around his very special family. I haven’t met you, but I am so glad you got to share life with Kent. I’m sure it was a great experience. God bless and comfort all of you.

I can hear Kent’s laugh, and now it is being shared with my dad’s and Art’s big laughs as they reunite. “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.”

I will always hold dear to my heart the memories of time spent with Kent and Cilla (my baby sister). Kent would always be so welcoming any time I came to visit. We shared many talks about God, family and ministry. I thank God for the blessed hope of seeing Kent again in Glory.
